The animation team must follow the following data, mode and format in order to maintain stability and quality of resources. This list will be updated in time as required or when more information is available.
Resolution: FullHDTV 16:9 1920x1080 (got any better ideas, pitch in the comments)
Frame Rate (FPS - Frames per second): 15 (while HDTV automatically selects 24 FPS, 15 should be fine for us)
Mode of Compilation: Raw project files, unless distributing for demonstration.
Mode of Rendering: PNG sequence (some might say Targa, which is better but takes more space; try avoiding Video formats until final or preview rendering)
Preview rendering: SWF, or MPEG 4 Part 2 (DivX, in MKV container)
Animatics: Unprotected SWF for import.
Sound codec: MP3 for now, just to be safe.
--------------------
TOOLS
Animation: ToonBoom, Flash, Synfig (depending on the cinematic requirements)
Video Edit / Compositing: Lightworks (Beta), Sony Vegas, Blender VSE
Sound Processing / Recording: Audacity
Painting / Image Processing: GIMP, MyPaint, Photoshop
Vector Illustrations: Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator
--------------------
Questions for the team
1) What primary software would you be using for animation?
2) How will you guys be handling the project files and collaboration?
3) How much of the soundtracks are done?
--------------------
Watch this space for additional info later.

Oh, Official Movie! But what of the project?
:new: Shall liiiive! But a bit slowly ;3
Looks like they finally decided to get up and start working on the actual movie. Why they took so long, we will never understand. But then, what is to become of this project? It'd be a bit awkward right now to go asking for and making the whole thing. What should we do with it, then? Perhaps no longer focus on the whole movie? I'll see what I can do with this group and permissions, or with another. How's about creating a community, one to share theories and general fan-ship of the movie? Meanwhile, the animation project, though not going for a complete adaptation, could be used instead as an... animat
Currently Composing Resources List
Considering a revival, but it'll take a while, I won't lie. There was a lack of animators in the last attempt. If we fail to recruit them this time, the story will still be released as keyframes, hopefully with sound and color and all the pretty stuff.
I'm sorry about how badly it broke last time.

Project Status - Still Alive and Kickin'
As you all know, we had an announcement of the project's closure not long ago due to the absence of animators and supervisors. Then again, life happens, and many of us are unable to contribute towards an ambitious project such as this one, simply because many of us strive to maintain a balance between life and education/work already. But a work of art is still a grand creation, and to go back after all that effort betrays our very essence of pride and vision -- it would be a sin to abandon all our previous hard work.
Many of us share this sentiment, and hence many of you messaged us to keep the project open. A realization dawned then, that t

Flash CS 5.5 okay? I'm mostly doing the rough stuff anyway, so... xD
2) How will you guys be handling the project files and collaboration?
Uh...I don't know? It'd be cool if there was a forum or something. Or a Yahoo group/email list.
I'll just skip 3 and 4 then. lol
